COVID-19 California Stay at Home Emergency Declaration:  On March 19, 2020, Los Angeles County ordered a Stay at Home order for all non-essential Los Angeles County residents, in response to the rapidly spreading novel coronavirus pandemic affecting our communities, state, country, and world.  This County order was followed immediately by a statewide Stay at Home order delcared by California Governor Newsom.  This order for non-essential presonnel and retail businesses to stay at home and close operations, respectively, began at midnight on March 20, 2020.  Governor Newsom indicated that this emergency declaration would be in force through April 17, 2020, and that he reserved the right to extend the closure as the circumstances dictate, and as the COVID-19 pandemic progresses through the United States and the world.

Our headquarters is located in Los Angeles County, and although we have already implemented COVID-19 protecting and cleaning protocols, we must abide by the State's emergency declaration.  Our non-essential staff will stay at home, ensuring that their families are safe and healthy.  Any of our employees showing any respiratory or other medical symptom included in the COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) symptomology is required to stay at home by law and seek appropriate medical care, when and where indicated. Essential personnel will be available during limited hours to serve our U.S. federal, state, and local goverment agency users, as well as our medical institution, hospital, and research facility users.

SRI Instruments and our employees are deemed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as WORKERS ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE DURING COVID-19 RESPONSE.
